As the final product for my GCSE Resistant Materials course I decided to create a modular desk. What bothered me about current desks was that any of their functions came built in: Draws stuck to one part; pencil-catchers on one side etc. This inspired me to see if I could create a desk that allowed the user to arrange the functions of the desk as they liked. The final desk includes a space for a carrier-bag bin, a space for stationary, a space for paper stacks, a container for small items and several plain platforms.
